Volunteer details
Eden Medical Center has several volunteer opportunities available. The Eden Medical Center Auxiliary is now taking applications for volunteers over the age of 18 who would like to assist patients and visitors at our Information Desk, in our Gift Shop or as part of our Family Support Service working in the Emergency and Trauma Departments. There are many different shifts and areas of responsibility currently open. If you love to help others, have a passion for health care, and enjoy a warm and caring environment, we invite you to join us.

Hi...I have been retired for ten years. I am 72, and do volunteer work with my church (Skyline United Church of Christ) two days a week (Sun and Tues). I also work with the Food of God Program here in Oakland on the first Thursday of each month. I worked for about seven years at (the old) Eden many years ago as a Respiratory Therapist.
