The Auxiliary consists of members of the community that volunteer their time to promote and advance the welfare of the patients, using their time and talents to assist in various areas of the hospital. This may include working in departments such as Medical Records, Physical therapy, Surgery and Pharmacy. Duties may include filing, answering phones, making copies and general organizational tasks. Auxilians provide directions and answer inquiries at the information desk located in the Hospital lobby. Members also encourage patients by distributing water and ice to the rooms, handing out magazines and books or toys to younger children. Application process

Contact the Director of Volunteer Services to request and complete a volunteer application. The Director will conduct an interview to determine your interests, skills and availability. An orientation and tour of the hospital is also required.
