Crenshaw Community Hospital volunteers are helpful to patients and their guests in many ways. Our volunteers work throughout the hospital assisting patients and visitors, answering questions at the information desk, opening the blinds, filling the water pitchers, watering flowers and more. You can identify them by their pink volunteer smocks. Over the years, the “Pink Ladies” have hosted fundraisers, raffled items, sold baked goods and collected home-made crafts to raise money for the hospital. Volunteers are responsible for decorating the prayer room. Patients, family members, and hospital employees enjoy both the quiet prayer room and the beautifully landscaped garden.
