The Hospital Auxiliary, comprised of dedicated and helpful volunteers, is hard at work to benefit Columbus community and its patients.By performing support functions indirectly related to health care, hospital staff are able to concentrate on tasks for which they have been specially trained. As valued members of the Columbus health care team, Auxiliary volunteers selflessly dedicate themselves to helping, comforting and soothing the sick. In addition to patient assistance, clerical and public assistance duties, the Auxiliary plays an important role in fund raising activities to purchase hospital equipment.
