Volunteer Services at Indiana University Health West Hospital began in March, 2005, with 14 volunteers. In just a few short years, IU Health West Hospital has expanded the program greatly, and now has volunteers working in many different areas throughout the hospital. Application process

All interested candidates must complete an application and interview with a volunteer coordinator, as well as complete a health screening and attend a unique orientation program tailored specifically to volunteers. Every effort is made to identify your special interests and talents during the interview process, and a volunteer coordinator makes every effort to assign you to a department within the hospital in which you might find the most enjoyable, rewarding experience.
