Volunteer details

Our volunteers provide innumerable services for patients and the community; from supplying daily coffee service and offering free blood pressure screenings to running the hospital gift shop and staffing the information desk. Volunteers also work in the many hospital departments, assisting with office paperwork and helping comfort patients. The UM Charles Regional Auxiliary is a network of dedicated volunteers who proudly assist our hospital staff to achieve the highest quality of physical care and emotional comfort for our patients. In addition, the Auxiliary generously offers career scholarships each year to residents of Charles County who qualify and wish to pursue careers in healthcare.
