Volunteering at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center is rewarding and interesting.Volunteers wear a uniform and ID badge so that their official status is immediately recognized by Chesapeake Regional Medical Center staff and patients. In addition to a general orientation, volunteers receive training in their chosen area. Additional special training may be provided in certain areas of the hospital, such as our Mother/ Baby Unit or Therapeutic Visitation.Through volunteering at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center, individuals have the opportunity to enhance the care of our patients, provide help to our clinical and non-clinical departments, supplement the care given by nurses and doctors, and help visitors and patient’s families. For more information about volunteer opportunities at this hospital, visit the Chesapeake General Hospital volunteer website.
