The Cass Regional Medical Center Auxiliary was established in 1963. The Auxiliary members are volunteers, also known as Auxilians. The purpose of the Auxiliary is to promote and advance the welfare of Cass Regional Medical Center, a not-for-profit hospital. This purpose shall be accomplished through service to the hospital and its patients, fundraising for special hospital projects, and by assisting and promoting the health and welfare of the communities served by the hospital. Auxilians work in such areas as the reception desk, gift shop, business office, Specialists Clinic, cardiac rehabilitation and hospitality cart. Funds are raised through gift shop sales, fundraisers and scheduled sales. For more information about volunteer opportunities at this hospital, visit the Cass Regional Medical Center volunteer website.

Membership is open to adults ages 18 or older who are interested in supporting the hospital. To begin the process, each person interested in becoming an Auxilian must fill out a standard background check. Once the background check has cleared, a mandatory orientation will be scheduled. After orientation is complete, the Auxilian will be placed into an area of interest to them, depending on availability.
