Are you interested in helping others in our community? Volunteering can be an enriching and life-changing experience for both volunteers and those they help. At Carondelet, we offer volunteering opportunities for people from all walks of life. In order to volunteer at Carondelet Hospice and Palliative Care, no medical training or medical background is necessary. Instead, what’s important is a desire to help improve the experience of individuals who are living in the final stages of life due to life-limiting illness. We welcome anyone, man or woman, college-age or retiree, who is dedicated to helping improve the lives of those in hospice care. As a hospice volunteer, you’re a vital member of the hospice care team. You’ll spend time with hospice patients and their loved ones, providing caregiver relief and companionship, running errands and performing other supportive services that help our trained professionals provide exceptional care to patients. For more information about volunteer opportunities at this hospital, visit the Carondelet Hospice And Palliative Care volunteer website.
