Caldwell Memorial enrolls more than 150 volunteers ranging in age from 14 - 95 years who work in almost every department. The gift shop, emergency department, information desk, mailroom, ICU waiting room, laboratory and cafeteria make use of regularly scheduled volunteers working three-hour shifts. Many hospital-owned practices have a growing need for volunteers. In the past 25 years, volunteers have given over 375,000 working hours and over one million dollars of contributions.
