Volunteer Services available at Bucyrus Community Hospital include Front Desk volunteer that meet and greet all individuals entering the hospital, distribute visitor cards,escort patients to various departments in the Hospital.Grey Ladies have direct patient contact and they aid patients in filling out meal menus, delivering and removing meal trays,delivering greeting cards,watering flowers, and much more. Candystriper Program involves students 16 years of age or older may volunteer in ICU, Med/Surg, or the Emergency Department. Students will have direct patient contact under the supervision of Hospital staff.Junior Volunteer Program include students 13 years of age or older may volunteer in the Dietary Department preparing and delivering patient meal trays, as well as other kitchen duties. Students may also volunteer at the Front Desk as a receptionist for the Hospital.
