Founded in 1977 by the Brandon Women's Service League, the Brandon Regional Hospital Auxiliary has expanded its role and programs to keep pace with the needs of a rapidly growing community. Today the Auxiliary totals more than 200 volunteers who perform a wide range of services for the patients, guests and staff of Brandon Regional Hospital. Membership is open to persons 18 years of age or older. To apply for membership in the Brandon Hospital Auxiliary, complete and return a membership application to the Auxiliary. Applicants will be contacted for an interview; qualified applicants will need to complete appropriate paperwork including a background check and attend orientation. Job specific training will occur in the service selected by the applicant. Members volunteer for a three-hour shift, once a week and must complete a minimum of 75 hours a year to remain an active member of the Auxiliary.
