Founded in 1977 by the Brandon Women's Service League, the Brandon Regional Hospital Auxiliary has expanded its role and programs to keep pace with the needs of a rapidly growing community. Today the Auxiliary totals more than 200 volunteers who perform a wide range of services for the patients, guests and staff of Brandon Regional Hospital. Volunteer placements & services

Admissions Area/Waiting Room Ambassador; Cardiac Rehab; Child LIfe Services; Dispatch; Emergency Services; Emergency Room Ambassador; Gift Shop; Health Information Management; Human Resources/Employee Health; Intensive Care Unit; Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU); Packet Assembly; Patient Services; Public Relations/Marketing; Sundry Cart; Surgical Services; Women’s Services

Application process

Membership is open to persons 18 years of age or older. To apply for membership in the Brandon Hospital Auxiliary, complete and return a membership application to the Auxiliary. Applicants will be contacted for an interview; qualified applicants will need to complete appropriate paperwork including a background check and attend orientation. Job specific training will occur in the service selected by the applicant. Members volunteer for a three-hour shift, once a week and must complete a minimum of 75 hours a year to remain an active member of the Auxiliary.
