BFMC is honored to have over 300 dedicated volunteers doing a variety of tasks in 30 different departments. Assignments are based on the needs of the hospital and to support staff in service to patients. Whenever possible, we try to honor volunteers' requests in regards to scheduling. Volunteers span from students to seniors and range in age from 16 - 90 years old. The process begins with a completed application, continues with an interview, clearances, group orientation and then observing seasoned volunteers to determine the best fit.
