Volunteer details
At Banner Heart Hospital, our volunteers are an important part of our team. We are always looking for compassionate and caring individuals to volunteer four hours a week. Each year, volunteers donate thousands of hours and talent to our Medical Center and generate funds that benefit Banner Heart Hospital's programs and services through fundraising efforts of the gift shop and other special sale events. We strive to provide flexible schedules that accommodate our seasonal volunteers, teens and career professionals. Volunteer programs
Dog Therapy Programs; Teen Volunteer Programs; Adult Volunteer Program
Application process
We require all our applicants: Complete a thorough application, interview and background research process (could take up to 3 weeks); Commit to volunteering at least 100 hours within 6 months or 1 shift per week, approximately 4 hours in length.

On August 2 I had open heart surgery at Banner Heart Hospital. I had a great experience at the hospital while I was there. I would like to volunteer time at this hospital if possible. I had a volunteer come to my room and tell me he had heart surgery. I was glad to talk to another person who experienced this. So whether I do that type of volunteering or another I would like to find out more about it. I noticed you have an opening in the gift shop which interested me also. I have worked with people in all my previous employment.
