Volunteer service at Atchison Hospital has been a community tradition since 1957, when the Atchison Hospital Auxiliary was founded. The Hospital offers opportunities for adult volunteers in the Auxiliary as well as for student's ages 14 to 18 in the Junior Volunteer Program. Both volunteer service programs require an application with references, interview, TB skin test and completion of orientation and training.
