Ascension offers various volunteer opportunities at the hospital sites and through many of its affiliate organizations. Assisting staff, patients, their families and visitors, is the primary purpose and goal of our volunteer program. Responsibilities and duties may vary depending on the program you select and types of services you wish to provide. The time you spend in volunteer activities can vary widely from a few hours a week to several hours a day. As a volunteer, you will be able to schedule times at your convenience that will fit into your lifestyle. You can volunteer at a location close to you. Application process

First, you will need to schedule an interview, complete a two-hour volunteer orientation, attend a attend an additional training arranged on the job. Your orientation and interview will be at our Warren Campus; Be willing to provide medical history information and take a test for tuberculosis. We also require and provide annual flu immunization; Be willing to provide references, a copy of your ID and undergo a state and national background check requiring your social security number.
