Volunteer details

Anne Arundel Medical Center continues its long tradition of volunteers in service to Anne Arundel Health System reaching back to 1944 when it began as the AAMC Auxiliary. More than 750 members use their time, energy and financial support to benefit our health system in over 30 service lines on the main campus and in the many satellite facilities throughout our community.

Application process

Auxiliary: To join the Auxiliary, contact 443-481-5050, sign up for a volunteer information session; Submit Volunteer Application; Attend a volunteer or Auxiliary orientation and training; Comply with immunization requirements of AAMC. Student Volunteers: Complete student volunteer application and immunization requirements and return by the deadline. Be sure to include your specific availability in your application; If selected, you will be contacted by the Volunteer Coordinator via email regarding next steps; All student volunteers will be required to attend a student volunteer orientation. Students will learn about AAMC culture, policies, procedures, and the expectations of the volunteer program; Attend scheduled department training and begin volunteering.
