Application process

Becoming an Alaska Regional Volunteer involves a background check, fingerprinting, immunizations, and hospital orientation, which may take several weeks to finalize. Not to worry! The process is completely free (no cost to you) and our Volunteer Coordinator will walk you through every step. Please follow the steps below to join our amazing team of volunteers: Request that a volunteer packet to be mailed to you by calling the Volunteer Coordinator at (907) 231-0435 or emailing Josie.Wilson@hcahealthcare.com; Schedule a meeting with the Volunteer Coordinator by emailing Josie.Wilson@hcahealthcare.com. Please bring all completed paperwork with you. The Volunteer Coordinator will also review the steps in the process to becoming an Alaska Regional Hospital Volunteer.
